She
wears a sheet with hues of scarlet, amber, and lemon
before
signaling the Sun for roll call.
Earth
is rekindled
as
kaleidoscope ribbons shimmer from the fabric.
She
rushes back to her chamber
and
picks a jovial blue accompanied by white cotton
as
Earth is enlightened
with
luminous rays.
She
trudges back and slips in
an
endless ceiling of grey clumps.
She
watches the world soaked
with
her emotional fountain.
As
the day dims down,
she
gets her cue card ready.
A
sparkling layer decorates the obsidian cape she has saved for last.
Its
bejeweled constellation shines till the next dawn.
