New Poem: Sakura

The breeze grow cold.
Rays of the summer's eye
illuminate the earth.
Warmth starts to swirl around,
awakening nature.

Little buds pop on the tips of branches.
Then white or pink flowers
spread petals wide and proud
as they breathe in the spring air.
Down the path,
the colourful trees will make your eyes sparkle
with wonder.

The breathtaking scenery doesn't stay much longer
for each petal will drop and sink,
allowing emerald leaves to sprout.
I wish the cherry blossoms can stay for a little longer
so that I can sit under its shade.

This creation comes and fades
like a morning star that appears
for lucky early birds to see.
Sakura,
I'm begging you,
please let my eyes see
your beyond beauty
for a little longer.
