Words Intertwined (Sequel to Words Entwined) First Story of 2015!!!!

Hey, all! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! It's 2015 and I don't know what's gonna happen this year but I hope I can move up to a higher level of education, that is this year, I hope I can transfer to university so that I can explore my future path in new heights! I'm gonna miss 2014 because it's like the best year I've ever had in Canada. A lot of things happened that year, and if you are interested (I'm surprised if you are), you can check out my posts of 2014 in my blog archive on the top right. Now, to start with 2015, I've finished writing this sequel to my fiction! It is recommended not to read it until you've finished reading the first story which you can find on my blog archive as well! Hope you enjoy reading and what are your new year resolutions? Let me know in the comments! Thanks! =D

“I can’t believe you almost got chased by a bull!” Aimee laughs, “And that happened in India?”
“I know right? At first I thought that black bull was charging behind me, but it was actually running past me to its owner which was a few feet in front of me.” Jordan smiles goofily.
“Oh my gosh! Hilarious!” Aimee continues laughing.
Jordan Hansen and Aimee Tan share a bag of mochi ice cream while admiring the glorious sunset through the floor to ceiling windows of Narita Airport. They are there for the whole day since they bumped to each other. After Jordan dashes off Japan Airlines just to chase after Aimee who is about to board Singapore Airlines back to Vancouver, Canada, they have never felt so happy to see each other face to face.
Aimee glances at Jordan who munches a bite of the soft Japanese dessert. The evening hues meet his hazel eyes like a rainbow created by a prism. She wishes he could look back into hers so that she can melt into his soul. She keeps staring while her hand digs into the bag of mochi, but her palm feels a pinch of air instead of a solid ball.
“Hey!” she yells, catches him by surprise. He holds the last mochi ice cream with his calcium-polished teeth. He shrugs and gobbles it up like Yogi Bear.
“I didn’t know you’re a pig!” Aimee giggles.
“And I didn’t know you’re judgemental!” Jordan smirks.
Aimee pushes him lightly by his left bicep. Jordan nearly let out a snort.
“Oh! I almost forgot! I have to buy a ticket!” Aimee says.
“That’s right! It’s funny that I feel like staying here a bit longer.”
When you say here, do you mean staying in Tokyo or in this moment?”
“Well…”
Jordan returns Aimee’s gaze. No answer crawls from his mouth, but their gaze seems like forever. Jordan leans in closer. He is about to move his head a little more when suddenly the sound of the PA system blares from the opened glass doors of the airport.
Aimee turns away and fixed the straps of her white tote bag on her right shoulder.
“We should head back. We don’t want to the tickets sold out.” she said.
Disappointed, Jordan does the same to his backpack. He sees Aimee turn her back and walk away when he suddenly grabs her by her left arm.
“Hey,” he gushes, “I...I have a great time being with you today. We should do more of this some time.”
Aimee looks at him with a smile, “Yeah, me too.”

“Let’s go to that travel agency.” Jordan suggests. He points further down the check in counters where a booth is set up. Aimee nods in reply and holds Jordan’s right hand gently. Fifteen minutes later, they have bought flight tickets to their respective destinations. Unfortunately, their flights isn’t till Sunday which is four days away.
“Do you think it’s too late to book a hotel?” Aimee asks.
“I don’t know, but when I first came here I saw a Chinese tourist who argued with the hotel workers of not letting him getting a room without reservation. That moment was pretty nasty.” Jordan replies.
“Well, what should we do? We have no freaking place to live for the next three days!”
“Well…” Jordan looks around like a lost cub, hoping a solution would pop up in his mind, “maybe you can ask the airport folks for suggestion? You know how to speak Japanese, right?”
“Yeah but...I don’t think getting a last minute reservation is convenient.”
Suddenly, Jordan feels like a shadow breathing behind his ears. He turns his back and jumps.
“Whoa...calm down dude! It’s me!” a familiar face grins.
“Tashiya???” Jordan squeaks.
Aimee raises her eyebrows in confusion. Tashiya stands in front of them with his signature naughty grin.
“What on earth are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in training for..I don’t know...your dentistry throne?”
“Relax, buddy! I’m here on a short vacation!”
“Jordan, what’s going on?” Aimee asks.
Tashiya looks at her and then back to Jordan and back to Aimee again. He then reveals a smile that shows his yellowish white teeth.
“Ah! You must be the girl my buddy falls in love with!” he says.
“Tashiya, you’re embarrassing me!” Jordan hisses.
“Dude, there’s no need to hide. Ever seen you had that Facebook conversation with this girl, I know that look on your face that obviously tells me that you’ve found L-O-V-E.” Tashiya explains, drawing a heart with two fingers in front of him.
Aimee covers her mouth with her right hand to hide her giggle. Jordan’s face is as red as a police car siren.
“Anyway, I’m surprised that you’re still here. I thought you’re in a plane back to London by now.” Tashiya says, leaning nonchalantly against an empty counter.
“We just booked our tickets and they’re not till Sunday.” Jordan replies.
“Ow, that sucks,” Tashiya tilts his head up to think and shortly looks back at them, “I have an idea!”
* * *
“Really? This is your plan?” Jordan groans.
Jordan and Aimee are in the back seat of Tashiya’s rented Subaru and find themselves in front of a double terrace house.
“Look, this is the only place I can offer for you two lovebirds to stay. Besides, without me here you’ll be stranded in the airport for the rest of the weekend.” Tashiya says.
“He’s got a point,” Aimee agrees, “Besides, we’re here in Tokyo once more! We can do more stuff together before we go back to our separate homes.”
Before Jordan can reply, Tashiya quickly pushes a button on the left wall next to the steel gate. The black voice activator which is situated above the button lets out a beep followed by an elderly voice in Japanese, “はい? (Hai-Yes)”
“お母さん?これはたしやよ!(Okaasan? Kore wa Tashiya yo!-Mom? This is Tashiya!)”
Jordan stares at his friend, unable to understand a single word he says. Aimee, on the other hand, cann’t help but smiling.
“あれ?たしや?ひさしぶり!ちょっとまってね!(Are?Tashiya? Hisashiburi! Chotto matte ne!- Tashiya? It’s been a while! Wait a minute okay?”)
The gate swings open automatically a few seconds later. Tashiya leads them to a mahogany front door and knocks on the glossy wood three times. The doorknob twists open and there stands a 60-years-old lady, about five foot four, with short grey hair. They both hug happily.
“Jordan! Aimee! This is is my mother, Chirasa!” Tashiya grins.
“はじめまして!わたしはエイミーです!これはジョーダンです!(Hajimemashite! Watashi wa Eimii desu! Kore wa Joodan desu!-Nice to meet you! I’m Aimee! This is Jordan!)” Aimee introduces herself.
“Wow! You can speak Japanese, eh? That’s impressive!” Chirasa exclaims.
Aimee’s eyes widens, “And I can’t believe you just spoke English!”
“FYI, my mom used to live in Vancouver for fifteen years. However, Japanese is still her staple language.” Tashiya explains.
“That’s...awesome!” Aimee laughs.
“Ah! Please come in! Make yourselves at home!”

“So my son Tashiya has told me what happened and so...I’ve prepared rooms for you two for the weekend. And tonight is the perfect time for me to treat you all for dinner!” Chirasa says.
She is a midget with muscles. Jordan bites his lips from gasping at her strong hands while carrying an expensive-looking China tea set. Her wrinkled fingers holds steadily on the handles of the white porcelain tray. “Would you two like some tea? This is matcha tea; I’m sure you’ll love it!”
“Sure! ありがとう! (Arigatou- Thank you)” Aimee replies.
Tashiya’s mother pours a cup for Aimee. A swirling ribbon of steam snakes out of the spout of the teapot. Once the tea scent fills Aimee’s nose, she imagines herself running in an overlapping green tea field while crying Hakuna Matata out loud. Jordan is then offered a cup and his peripheral vision catches a glimpse of Aimee who sophisticatedly takes a small sip.
“Oh wow! This is really good!” her face lit up.
“でしょう? (Deshou-Right?)” Chirasa says proudly.
Jordan blows the floating steam off the surface of his cup before he takes a sip. Sure enough, the tea is like paradise travelling down through his throat.
“Oh! Look at the time! We have to go!” Chirasa exclaims while eyeing at a round purple clock hung on a wall.
“To where?” Tashiya asks.
“Harajuku of course!”
“But Okaasan, that place is way too crowded at night!”
“Well where you want to go then?”
Jordan then remembers a restaurant he went back when he first comes by to explore the city for his newspaper article. He clears his throat, “I have an idea. I’m sure you’ll love it too.”
“Really, 白人?(Hakujin-Caucasian)” Chirasa raises her eyebrow.
“What?”
“You don’t seem to know Japan well.”
“I hope you can trust me, Mrs. Toba. I’ve came here not long ago before this.”
“Hm...very well! Let’s go then!”

* * *

“てんぷら(Tempura) ? I must say, I’m impressed!” Chirasa smiles.
“This place looks awesome!” Aimee agrees.
They sits at a table in Tenya Kaihin Makuhari restaurant where its tempura dishes are popular in Chiba city.
“I got a little lost when I first came to Tokyo, but then out of the blue, I found this place and it was a head start for me to explore the city and take notes for my article.” Jordan explains proudly.
The restaurant is nearly full, with locals crunching delightfully on the fried veggies and seafood. Once their orders arrive, Jordan takes a bite of a tempura fish and hears his soul singing to the same taste he has before.
“I’ve been living here for a long time, and I can’t believe I’ve never discovered this place before! I’ll definitely bring my friends here next time!” Chirasa says, stuffing her mouth with a spoonful of rice from her “Ten Don” bowl.
“Glad you like it, Mrs. Toba!” Jordan smiles.
“Oh please! Call me Chirasa-san!”
Jordan finishes his dish way before the rest reaches to half of their bowls. To pass the late dinner time, Chirasa and Tashiya wear their pair of inquisitive ears while Jordan tells them his hilarious bull chase back in India and other adventures he has during his travel journalism business. Jordan watches as they both laugh till they nearly spit and choke their food. He catches a glimpse of Aimee who sits next to him. She silently finishes her meal; the last tempura shrimp she has saved on her bowl is then munched in satisfaction. Jordan grins in amusement and then wonders on what other things that shape her special.
“So where you wanna go next, buddy?” Tashiya asks.
“Hmm...I have no clue! What do you have in mind?”
“How about the Tokyo Tower?”
“What? That’s so far from here!”
“So? I’m just saying that it might be the perfect place for...you know…”
Tashiya’s eyes move swiftly from Jordan to Aimee and then back to Jordan. Jordan stares for a moment and suddenly his cheeks turn red.
“Ahem! Aimee, what do you say if you and Jordan would like to go up Tokyo Tower?” Tashiya folds his arms on the table and looks at the girl with a giddy grin.
“Um...actually I’ve never been to Tokyo Tower.”
“Perfecto! We should totally go there now!”
Jordan feels like he wants to run out of the door and gets hit by a car.
“Are you fucking crazy?” he hisses.
“Dude, man up!” Tashiya scolds. He then cups his hand over his mother’s left ear and whisper for like two minutes.
“Somebody get the shit out of this please…” Jordan sighs.

* * *

Jordan tries to think of an excuse but all he can feel physically is a drum banging wildly in his chest and the urge in his system to fart somewhere other than the Subaru. He looks at Aimee who looks relaxed on the other side. She gazes at the colourful view of lighted buildings that glows magnificently in the dark.
“How am I suppose to talk to her...alone? When am I suppose to make a move?”
A big cloud of questions float in his head as he painstakingly tries to erase them away, but he can’t. He takes quick glimpses at the most wonderful girl he has ever met and looks away to his window whenever Aimee turns her head to her left.
“And here we are!” Tashiya announces.
“God! If this doesn’t work out, I’ll be the first to leap off the freaking skyscraper!” Jordan mumbles.

“Wait here while I buy tickets, kay?” the Japanese pal says.
“You mean you’re coming too?” Jordan asks, relieved.
“Of course, I’m giving you two a tour! 行きましょう、お母さん (ikimashoo, okaasan-Let’s go, mom) !”

Somewhere deep within Jordan stirs him from his nervousness. He wants to have a good long talk with Aimee. He wants her to be his true first love. and if he wants to do that, he has to make a good performance in front of Aimee’s dark chocolate eyes...and fast.

“You’ve been here before right?” his thoughts are interrupted by Aimee’s gentle voice.
“Huh? Oh! Yeah, I pick Tokyo Tower as an important part of my article!”
“Yeah I know, I’ve read it remember?”
“Of course, I couldn’t forget that!”
Tashiya shortly bounces back in with two tickets in his right hand.
“Hey I thought you’re buying four.” Jordan says, surprised.
“I’m about to, but it turns out that tickets sold out fast.”
“On a Thursday? That’s hard to believe!”
“Yo! Believe me, okay? Tokyo is a pretty overpopulated city.” Tashiya chips in, “Hey! Why don’t you two go up there? My mom and I can wait for you guys in the car.”
“Is this a joke? That look of yours tells me that you’re lying.”
“Look, pal! I wish we all can go up the tower, but the counter guy said there’s no more tickets for the night.”
“Ahem! Excuse me for a second.”
Tashiya lifts his hands in the air like he got arrested. Jordan walks straight to the bottom of the tower; he looks more like storming off.
“あの人は長いの休みがあったほうがいですね。(Ano hito wa nagai no yasumi ga atta hoogaidesune- It’s better for that guy to have a long vacation, don’t you think?)” Chirasa chuckles.
Aimee lets out a sudden loud laugh before she covers her mouth quickly. She looks at Jordan who is a few yards away.
He finally runs back to them with a disappointed look, “Apparently you’re right.”
“See? I told you!” Tashiya hoots. His voice echoes likes a soundproof studio.
“Dude!” Jordan whispers.
“Sorry! Okay, you two better get up there or else your tickets go to waste. Come on! Off you go!”
“Yay…”

“Are you okay, Jordan? You seem...kinda blanked out.” Aimee asks.
Jordan turns to her and can’t bear to see her eyebrows curl with concern.
“D...don’t worry! I’m okay, I’m just...tired.” he replies, pretending to yawn.
“I see...oh wow! We can see the entire city from up here!”
The elevator that they are in rises up the tower like a giant bubble. Jordan is a little afraid of heights, but the sea of lights below causes him to forget about his phobia.
“Gorgeous! Absolutely gorgeous!” Aimee sings. She runs through the opened doors of the elevator and twirls on the floor of the main observatory. The ceiling to floor windows remind Jordan of his own windows back home in London where he calls them his “ideal binoculars to indulge in a picturesque view”. But instead of a sunset, an alive night portrait of the buzzling city surrounded the cylindrical area.
“Hey! Do you know that there’s another observatory above this floor?” Jordan asks.
“Really? Let’s go then!”
Aimee grabs his arm as they flee back to the elevator to go to the upper floor of the tower.
“This is where I jot down notes of Tokyo Tower for my article. You can literally see the entire city from here like a telescope.”
Aimee looks through the windows which give her a better view of the city.
“I wish I can be a bird and fly over the skyscrapers, breathing in the air, and dream about this night forever.” she sighs.
“I wish the same thing too.” Jordan smiles.
He stands right next to Aimee. The song “Rewind” by Rascal Flatts automatically plays in his head like a spontaneous click on Spotify. As the lyrics flows smoothly in his mental ears, he realizes that he has a bigger wish than being a bird.
Untouch your skin, un-kiss your lips and kiss them again.
So good, so right, this is one night I wish I could rewind.
Jordan slowly turns his head to Aimee who is still gazing peacefully at the glass walls. The obsidian heaven is decorated with a cluster of stars, so beautiful that reflects a portion of it onto Aimee’s dark eyes like a mirror. Even Jordan can spot the stars on Aimee’s eyes which leaves him breathless.
“Aimee...uh...there’s something I want to tell you.”
“What is it?” Aimee asks.
This time, her glittery eyes stares straight into his. Jordan is ready to open his mouth to say the three simple but emotional words, but he can feel that every inch of his body is about to explode like a grenade.
“I...well I…”
BRRTTT!
Holy shit, his head screams.
Aimee covers her mouth with her hand for a few seconds before she bursts out laughing.
I can’t believe I just farted...right in front of her! Jordan thinks to himself, his face is a bright red tomato. This….isn’t supposed to happen!

* * *

“おはいよう (Ohaiyoo-Good morning), sleepyhead!” Tashiya yells.
Jordan has his whole body covered by a wool blanket. He refuses to move a muscle.
“Come on! Get up! Aimee is already upstairs!” Tashiya tries again. He grabs hold on Jordan’s left shoulder and shakes him.
“Leave me alone, would ya?” Jordan muffles.
“What’s the matter? Gas stuck in your ass?”
“Don’t start it!” Jordan curls into fetal position on the right side of the mattress.
Jordan counts to ten, hoping that Tashiya would just walk away. He finally hears footsteps but it only lasts for three seconds.
CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!
Jordan yanks the blanket off his head and sits upright like a spirit raised up from the dead.
“What the F!” He yells before staring at Tashiya’s alarm on his iPhone in surprise.
“I knew my cymbals alarm would come in handy!” Tashiya smirks.
“Okay! Okay! I’m up! Happy now?”
“Rise and shine, pretty boy! You need to have your voice heard!”
“But how? I don’t wanna fart near her again!”
“Trust me, you’re not gonna do that again.” Tashiya says. He then fishes in his pants pocket for a couple of tickets to Tokyo Disneyland.
“Really?” Jordan looks uncertain.
“What?”
“You think Aimee will forget about my failed move last night by going to the land of magic?”
“Well, you told me that she loves Disney, so this might be the trick!”
“Fine! But I’m gonna put my trust on you this time!”
“Hey! Are you guys hungry? Breakfast is ready!” Aimee pops in.
“Oh! G...good morning, Aimee!” Jordan collects himself.
“Good morning!” she smiles back, “It’s a beautiful day, isn’t it? I wonder what shall we do today?”
Jordan doesn’t realize the sunny weather till now. Sure enough, a beam of sunlight peeks between the dark blue satin curtains at the window of the room.
Tashiya winks at Jordan as he shoves the tickets into Jordan’s hand.
“W...well, maybe we can go to the happiest place on earth?” Jordan stammers.
“As in...Disneyland?” Aimee pauses.
“Uh huh…”
“NO WAY! For real?”
Aimee notices the two tokens to paradise in Jordan’s grip and squeals. She then runs towards him to give him a tight hug which leaves him speechless.
“Well what are we waiting for?” she shrieks, snatches his hand and drags him out of the bedroom.

* * *
“You’ve never been here before?” Jordan asks.
“Well during my first visit I was about to come here but tickets sold out quick in the summer.” Aimee replies, “Oh! That reminds me! How did you get your ticket here anyway? I saw the popular rides, restaurants, and shops of Tokyo Disneyland in your article and I have to admit, I envy you.”
“My boss pays for my trip. At first I thought I have to make early reservation for it, but my boss is the one who assigns me for this trip so he pays for everything...except for food, souvenirs, and transit of course.”
“Wow! You’re lucky to work in such a big company!”
“Yeah, it’s my dream job,” Jordan smiles wide, “I just love travelling around the world and writing about it. In fact, doing travel journalism is way better than writing newspaper articles of natural disasters and world tragedies.”
“I feel you...writing real life sad stories is a hard thing to do.”
“I know right? Sometimes I wish bad things could be banished from earth so that I can just live in peace!”
Aimee stops walking and stares at the ground with her head low. Jordan looks back at her as his smile drops, “Did I say something wrong?”
“Living in peace forever would be nice but...this is the world, this is where we live in. And what I’ve learnt from my experiences is that bad things will transformed into something good, like pearls born from oysters.”
“Yeah...what are you trying to say?”
Jordan comes closer. His eyes are in a deep colour of concern, like Flynn Rider’s face when he asks Rapunzel about worrying a dream.
“You like writing about happy stories, right?”
“Stories that fills my soul in satisfaction to the brim.”
“What if you’re about to write a story that is...real and it leaves a permanent scar in your heart like shattered chandelier glass?” Aimee’s voice grows louder, “What if you’re about to write something that is just...another illusion that you will regret of doing so for the rest of your life like a bitter pill that is hard to swallow?”
“That will never happen to you...and to me.”
“How do you know?”
Jordan has no clue what he is doing but he doesn’t want to see his girl down in the dumps. He places both hands onto her shoulders and look at her deep in the eyes,
“Because I know you’ve been there, and I know you are stronger than you were before.”
“Really?”
“I can tell from your story in your notebooks. You write about your previous love to get over it, and the wreckage in your heart won’t remain for long, because a miracle will happen.” Jordan says, “I believe miracles will happen to every human being, and if a miracle happens right now, I wish that the miracle will happen right.”
Aimee gives a smile of relief, “I wish that too. That is why I love about you, Jordan Hansen. You’re just so wise.”
“Aimee…” he is about to make his move while suddenly a bunch of balloons blocks between them. Jordan stares in disbelief at a balloonman who unawarely cut through them.
“Darn it!” a voice in his head says.
“What is it, Jordan?” Aimee asks.
“I...I forgot about what I’m about to say.” he lies.
“Oh well, this place is full of distraction anyway...hey let’s go in the castle!” Aimee says as she drags him gently down the road. They have talked for what seems like forever till they’ve reached the entrance of Cinderella’s castle which is the heart of the theme park.

“Oh! It’s the glass slipper!” Aimee gasps.
“Milady!” Jordan says in his best royal voice. He kneels down beside a hard red structure which happens to be a pillow with the fake slipper on top, “Would you like to try on the slipper?”
Aimee giggles. She pretends to hold the edges of an imaginary skirt and curtsies. She then sits on the provided stool and slips her right foot into the shoe. Unfortunately, her foot is a little big. Jordan winks and whispers in her ear that she is still beautiful.

That whole day, Jordan has the time of his life that he forgets all about his secret plan. From seeing the singing multicultural children in It’s A Small World to getting soaked in Splash Mountain to blasting off in Space Mountain’s roller coaster, Jordan and Aimee feels like little kids once again. As the silver moon replaces the sun, they have finished taking pictures of themselves with the one and only Mickey Mouse in Toontown before heading back to Cinderella’s castle.
“We should probably go back. Tashiya and Chirasa might be waiting for us.” Aimee says.
Jordan looks at her in surprise. “It’s only 8pm! Don’t you want to stay back a little longer?”
“That would be great but my feet screams to me that they need a massage!”
“Looks like someone’s a little of a bitch.”
“Hey!” Aimee elbows him by the bicep.
“I’m just joking!” Jordan laughs.

BOOM!
A flower of red light explodes in the night sky. Everyone looks up in awe as fireworks is released above the castle.
“You’re right, Jordan! Good thing we didn’t head back yet!” Aimee smiles.
“Yeah...how do you say beautiful in Japanese?”
“きれい(Kiree-beautiful).”
“Kiree? The view from here is...kiree!”
“There you go!” Aimee claps.

“Sha la la la la, don’t be scared, you got the mood prepared, go on and kiss the girl…”
The flirty song from The Little Mermaid blasts from the speakers as the firework display continues. Jordan suddenly remembers on the last thing he wants to do to make this night a memory. He caresses her cheek; it feels like silk. He then holds her face with both hands and finally locks his lips into hers. Jordan can feel a spark in his soul that grows and glows into a brilliant warm light. He has never felt so lucky to have her. The fireworks are festively luminescent and inviting, but the first kiss creates a more luminescent and inviting sensation. When they pull their lips away, they never stop staring at each others’ eyes throughout the rest of the event.

* * *
“おはいよう (Ohaiyoo-Good morning), Aimee!” Jordan greets.
“おはいよう!” Aimee replies. Her cheeks turn red. She looks a little dazed from last night but she can’t stop smiling. As she sits next to Jordan at the dining table, Jordan’s heart soar high as he holds and squeezes Aimee’s hand.
“Awwwwwwww! Look at you two finally glue up like sushi!” Tashiya beams.
“Shut up…” Jordan hisses.
Tashiya cackles; he sounds almost like a female witch.
“Dude, do you mind?” Jordan pleads.
“Okay okay, let me just grab my bowl of ramen and I’m out!”
Jordan can’t get his focus on Aimee until his friend is out of sight with a steaming green bowl of yellow instant noodles dipped in spicy soup.
“So what shall we do today?” Aimee asks as she playfully tugs the sleeve of his black polo shirt.
“Since today is our last day in Tokyo, I’m thinking that we should go to Harajuku, that place you always talk about. And maybe a walk in a garden, and finally to Tokyo Bay.”
“Sounds lovely!”
“I’m glad that we’re doing this!”
“Me too!”
They are about to kiss when suddenly they heard a crash coming from the kitchen. It sounds more like shattered porcelain. They then heard Tashiya’s mother gasping and cursing in Japanese.
“ちらささん、だいじょうぶ?(Chirasa san, daijoobu?-Are you okay, Chirasa?)” Aimee asks, craning her head to peek at the door.
“はい!だいじょうぶ!しんぱいしないよ!(Hai! Daijoobu! Shinpaishinai yo!-Yes! I’m okay! Don’t worry!)” Chirasa replies.
“Call me cray cray, but I think Tashiya and his mother are spying on us.”
“Tell me about it! Let’s get out of here!” Aimee agrees.
“Oh! Please! Don’t go yet! I’m preparing miso soup for you two!” Chirasa calls from the kitchen.
“Uh..it’s okay, Mrs.Toba...I mean Chirasa! We wouldn’t want to get stuck in traffic anyway!” Jordan replies, getting up from his chair.
“Oh! My son can drive you to Harajuku! It’s faster!”
“Thanks but no thanks! We’ll just go there by transit!”
“Oh...okay then! いってらしゃい! (Itterashai-goodbye and please come back) ” Chirasa gives in. Her voice is slightly disappointed.
“はい!いってきます!(Hai! Ittekimasu!- Okay! We’re going now!)” Aimee replies.
“Seriously! You’ve got to give me Japanese lessons!” Jordan chips in.
“Only if you want to commit!” Aimee says sarcastically.
“Hey! I can be...commit-able!”
“Yeah right!” Aimee laughs.

The new couple rides a Chiyoda line train to Meiji-jingumae station which leads to the popular youth city. On the way, Aimee excitedly teaches Jordan basic Japanese greetings. She tries not to giggle at him who coats the Japanese phrases with his thick British accent. Jordan, on the other hand, feels like a mule of speaking the language but he has fun repeating the words from Aimee. He also notices the sparkle in her eyes as she enthusiastically reads the map pastes on top of the speeding train.

“なんですって?(Nandesutte?-What did you just say?)” a voice snaps from a corner of the station. As they get off the train, they spot a couple who seems to be arguing. A man in shaggy black hair yells at the top of his lungs in front of a woman in a black crop top and denim shorts. The woman then barks back till her voice is about to wear off. Suddenly, the man’s fury meter reaches to its limit; he slaps her hard in the face which causes her to collapse on the hard concrete steps.

Aimee and Jordan stares in horror. The man who immediately switches from angry to scared runs to help her up. His body is shivering till cold sweat begins to form on his forehead. Everyone in the station keeps looking at them like some sort of drama. Jordan have seen couples fighting on his way to work in London and he can’t bear seeing relationships going downhill. He notices a slightly sad look on Aimee and it hints him that the couple who makes a scene in front of them reminds Aimee of her past relationship.

Aimee inhales deeply as she calms herself down. The man eventually apologizes to the woman with ten times “ごめんなさい (gomennasai-sorry)”. He even carries her body with his buff arms down the stairs.

“You okay?” Jordan asks.
“Huh? Oh! Yeah!” Aimee replies.
“Let’s go then!” Jordan smiles, holding her hand.

Harajuku is like an open fashion runway. Everywhere they go, they see locals dressed in gothic costumes; some turn into real life anime characters. Jordan swears he just saw a six-foot-four tall male acts as Tuxedo Mask with a tux, matching cape and other little details somewhere in the streets.
“Oh! That reminds me!” Jordan’s face lit up, “There’s this unique place I went to back in my trip! I bet you’ll love it!”
“Unique eh?” Aimee cocks her head to one side.
“Trust me! It’s like a writer’s dream place to brainstorm ideas!”
“That sounds more like a typical coffee shop to me.”
“Oh no, it’s not just a coffee shop!”
Jordan drags her off this time. He never lets her hand go throughout the quick walk, even when passing through pedestrians. As he mazes his way through the crowd without leaving his first love behind, he has faith that nothing can untie the knot between them.
Minutes later, they stopped at a cafe with a black and white sign on top that said
“文房具カフェ(Bunbougu Cafe)” with a white pencil on the very left.
“A stationery cafe?” Aimee raises her eyebrows.
“Yeah! Looks cool, huh? Come on!”

“いらっしゃいませ!(Irasshaimase-welcome!)” a man with grey hair greets from the counter.
Jordan suddenly squints at the man, confused.
“You...you don’t look like the one I met a week ago.” he says.
“Who?” the man asks as he takes off his pair of black-rimmed spectacles that nearly slips from the bridge of his nose.
“Um..if I remember correctly, I talked with Yoshi, the one with a kabuki mask tattoo on his left arm.”
“Ah! Yes! Yoshi Kamata! He’s very ill today so I’m taking his place for the day!” the man replies.
“Oh dear! What happened?”
“He’s having a high fever, sir.”
“Oh! I hope he’s okay. I miss talking to that interesting lad.”
“I’m sure he’ll be fine, sir.”

Jordan then shifts his focus to Aimee who twirls a Hello Kitty propelling pencil from a shelf. She, of course, has never seen a cafe combined with a stationery store. Her fingers ran from cases of pens to stacks of sticky notes and notebooks. “You’re right, Jordan! This is one neat place!”
“I know right? If you’re a member of this cafe, you’ll get to use the tools for free! You can even write down ideas or anything on the paper provided!”
“No way!”
“Oh hell yes! Thanks to Yoshi, who is not here today but he’s an awesome new pal, I used the stationery here to scribble notes for my article.”
“This is like creativity paradise! Now I feel like moving here and coming here every day to write!”
“Ahem! Sorry to interrupt but would you two like to order something?”the man in the counter cuts in.
“Ah yes! Aimee, what would you like?”
“I have nothing in mind! What would you recommend?”
“Hmm…” Jordan thinks for a moment before he decides, “Two matcha lattes, please!”
“Certainly!”

“Hey! Did you ask that man about becoming a member? I’m dying to try the tools!” Aimee gushes as Jordan pulls a chair for her to sit at a table.
“No, and I don’t actually know how that works. Here, you can borrow this.”
Jordan hands her a tiny golden key that matches the keyhole of a drawer, “This key will take you to the creativity paradise.”
“Shut up!” she holds her breath. Once she unlocks the drawer like a treasure chest, a big collection of pens and papers reveal before her eyes, “Oh! I could totally spend the whole afternoon here on this desk!”
Jordan laughs. A charming laugh. It immediately leaves her blushing, but she continues to rummage through the tools.
Shortly, the man at the cashier calls for Jordan’s attention. He fetches the two steaming mugs of green tea goodness while Aimee suddenly notices a paper folded in half. It is hidden under a book of sticky notes.
“To whom it may concern, this is a chance for you to know your destiny.” she reads the paper.
“What you got there?” Jordan asks.
“It looks like a questionnaire. There are five multiple choice questions here and they’re all about love.”
“Huh...that sounds interesting.”
“Hey! There’s one here. Why don’t you fill it out too?” she spots another folded paper under a box of pencils which is the exact same one.
“Okay, but I hope you won’t get carried away with the results.”

The old man at the counter has a sly smile that neither Aimee nor Jordan notices him. He pretends to make himself a cup of espresso, but his eyes darts up and down to peek at them filling out the questionnaires.

“I have 2 B’s and 2 C’s. There’s no other results than just A’s, B’s, and C’s.”
“I know right? Me too!”
“Well what does this mean then?”
There’s a long pause. The old man frowns and senses that something is wrong.
“It’s just a quiz anyway!” Jordan says. He takes a sip of his latte nonchalantly.
“But it says here that this is where we get to know our destiny.”
“So you’re just gonna believe everything that is in this paper?”
“Jordan!” Aimee exclaims. Her eyes are dark with concern.
“What?”
“Don’t you see? The papers here are testing us! We just started being together and...I don’t know whether this will work out.”
“Aimee, please don’t jump to conclusions!”
“And what do you mean by circling “As long as life takes me” in question number two? Are you saying that you don’t care about our relationship?”
“Of course I do, Aimee! It’s just that I haven’t thought about marriage before!”
“Oh! So you’re saying you don’t want to have a future?”
“No! It’s not what I meant!”

The man from the cashier hurriedly walks to their table and offers them a couple of menus, “Would you two like some snacks?”
“No thank you! We’re not finished yet.” Aimee calmly denies. She then turns back to Jordan, “Soon we’ll be separated back to our homes, and you don’t care if our feelings diminish?”
“Of course I care! I’m sure we can make our relationship work!”
“Oh yeah? And how confident are you?”
“Well I…”
“I love you, Jordan! You know I do! But I can’t believe you’ve never thought of ...making our relationship last.”
“Aimee, listen to me! I’ll try my best to keep our love strong even when we’re in long distance!”
“From the look in your eyes, I don’t think you’re serious about it.”
“Aimee..”
She gets up from her seat and snatches her purse and questionnaire from the table.
“You know what? Maybe it’s best if you circle mostly A’s.”
Jordan can feel his voice box mutes like a switch as he opens his mouth. He watches in shock as Aimee storms out of the cafe.

“What should I do? What should I do? WHAT THE HECK SHOULD I DO?”
Jordan paces here and there in the living room. Tashiya pops a green tea Kitkat chocolate bar into his mouth as he tries to think.
“Maybe you should try talking to her again?”
“Are you crazy? She’s not gonna talk back! I have a feeling that we’re actually over.”
“She’s didn’t exactly say that you two are breaking up, right?”
“I guess so, but still...she doesn’t look like she wants to hang out with me anymore.”
“You just gotta man up! You have to tell her that you really want to make your relationship work.”
“Yeah, and then the next thing I knew, she’s gonna whack my head with her shoe!”
“So what? Do you want me to talk to her for you?”
“No, I need to fix this on my own!” Jordan replies, popping in a Kitkat offered by Tashiya.
“You know, there’s a fireworks event at Tokyo Bay tonight. Maybe if you can bring her back to the moment when you kiss her with all the sparks fly like last night, she will be happy again.”
Jordan stops munching the candy and stares at his friend with eyes bulged out of their sockets.
“Why didn’t you tell me about that before? That’s genius!” Jordan smiles, “I was planning to take her there tonight but I have no idea that there will be fireworks!”
“Ah! Now I feel like I’m the best third wheel in the world.”
“Indeed you have!” Jordan laughs, “That reminds me, how come you don’t have a girlfriend yet?”
“With all the training of becoming a dentist, you have no idea how little time I have of going to clubs to flirt with a babe.”
“Too bad.”
“Oh well...someday I’ll get one.” Tashiya shrugs, “Anyway, I’ll drive you down to Tokyo Bay tonight.”
“You’re the man!”

* * *
The night is a clear black with stars glittering beneath the city, a perfect weather for couples to stroll. Jordan has tried to call Aimee five times but she refuses to pick up her phone.
“I don’t think she will come.” he sulks.
“Seriously, you’re giving up that quick?” Tashiya asks in surprise.
“She barely answers my calls! She’s completely ignoring me!”
“How about if we wait here for another five minutes? I’m sure she’ll come!”
“Very well, but if it doesn’t work out, I’ll dig in the pint of green tea ice cream your mom just bought this morning.”
“She’ll be mad, but okay.”
Jordan can feel his stomach churning with rolling waves as he uncomfortably watches countless smiling couples passing by. He wishes that he can erase everything that happen that afternoon at the cafe, he wishes that he doesn’t borrow her his key in the first place. He has absolutely no idea who creates or leaves the two questionnaires in the drawer, but most importantly, he has no idea on how to make Aimee believe that he truly loves her and wants her to be his for the rest of his life.

“You’re not here to continue the argument, are you?” Aimee’s voice appears from his back.
“Nope! I’m here to finish our day.” he replies as he turns to her, “We’re supposed to come here as our last spot of our stay, remember?”
“I’m only here to see the fireworks, not to be tangled by your dishonesty.”

Aimee stands a few yards away from Jordan so that she can watch the fireworks peacefully alone. Tashiya nudges him on the elbow and signals him to carry on with the plan. Jordan’s heart is beating out of his shirt as he walks nearer to her but she keeps moving away.
“Why are you acting like this? I just want to talk to you!”
Aimee’s lips are zipped. She barely looks at him.
“Aimee, please…”

A red shooting star bursts into the sky. Jordan looks at the fireworks that outshines the stars above Rainbow Bridge. He then moves a little closer till he reaches six feet away from Aimee. But once he turns to his left, she vanishes. He looks around the field but she is nowhere to be seen. Among a crowd of cuddling couples and laughing families, Jordan is the only one who stands on his two feet. As he trudges back to his friend, he is surprised to see him chatting joyously with a random Japanese girl. It turns out that Tashiya has found someone to accompany him for the night. Jordan wishes that he can be happy for him, but his heart is still crumpled from the absence of his first love. He decides to take a train back to Tashiya’s house. And during the whole ride, he plugs his Sony earphones into his ears and set David Archuleta’s “A Little Too Not Over You” in his iPhone 5 on replay.
Maybe I regret everything I’ve said,
No way to take it all back, yeah
Now I’m on my own
How I let you go, I’ll never understand…
Jordan watches the city rolls by as tears trickle down from his hazel eyes.

“ほんとう?ざんねんね!(Hontoo? Zannen ne-Really? That’s too bad!)” Chirasa gasps.
“He also told me that he...umm...ate the green tea ice cream you bought last night.” Tashiya says, almost mumbling.
“Ah well, that’s what heartbroken people do.” Chirasa shrugs.
“You mean you’re not mad?” Tashiya asks, surprised.
“Tashiya, that ice cream is actually for Jordan and Aimee.” Chirasa winks, “But since Jordan is the one who ate it, I guess the coupon that is in my purse for four whole weeks is not a waste after all!”
“Yeah, did I mention he ate the whole container?”
“I predict that.”

Jordan approaches upstairs to the dining room where Aimee is busy writing in her notebook. The night portrait cover of the notebook triggers his mind to replay flashbacks. He remembers the unexpected first time they met, the time when they bumped at each other on the travelator and their notebooks got switched either by karma or by a miracle. He remembers the Facebook conversations they had like clear crystal, the time when he flies back to Narita Airport just to find Aimee, the sunset view where he shares mochi ice cream with her, the moment when he farts in front of Aimee in Tokyo Tower, the first kiss they share back in Disneyland…

Aimee’s eyes move up to see Jordan standing at the top of the stairs.
“おはいよう (Ohaiyoo-good morning)!” he smiles.
Aimee’s mouth remains thin and numb. She continues writing for a few minutes before excusing herself to the washroom.
“Hey! How are you doing, buddy?” Tashiya enters from the kitchen.
“I’m okay.” Jordan replies.
He then takes a seat at the dining table and peeks at Aimee’s notebook which is still open. His eyes are glued to the page where it says,
I didn’t mean to be so mad at him. I don’t like giving him the silent treatment. I just don’t know whether he really meant it. I haven’t heard him saying that he loves me. I don’t know whether the kiss we have is worth it. I don’t want to repeat the mistakes I had in my previous love with Chris. When I saw our answers from the questionnaire and that our destiny is “uncertained”, it’s all happening again…

Jordan inhales and places his hands onto his head. He wishes he has thought of something to make things right.

* * *
Jordan and Aimee sits far apart from each other at the back seat of Chirasa’ car. No one says a word throughout the ride, just silence fogging in the vehicle. Aimee’s feelings written in her notebook is like a death note staying in Jordan’s mind.

The car rolls through a familiar street Jordan and Aimee notices simultaneously. Chirasa steers the wheel to a parking lot nearby and parks the car there.
“This is not an airport parking place.” Jordan says.
“We know! We’re here to see a friend.” Tashiya replies, “He happens to be the priest of this sacred shrine.”
“Shrine?” Jordan asks.
“Come on! Your flight is in two hours so we still have time.”

Jordan and Aimee follow Tashiya and his mother up the sidewalk until they stop in front of an entrance with a couple of red pillars and a golden sign hanging above a flight of stairs.
“I remember this. I came here to get my fortune before my flight back to Singapore.” Aimee recalls.
“I came here before I rush to the airport for my London flight.” Jordan says, surprised.
“Did we come here at the same time?” Aimee turns to him in confusion.
“Maybe? Do you remember what time you were here?”
“Around noon.”
“Me too!”

“Looks like you two are talking once again!” Chirasa smiles from a few steps behind them.
Aimee keeps quiet throughout the rest of the climbing. Shortly, they reach to the top and find themselves in front of a counter where a 70-years-old man wearing a pair of round spectacles stands inside.
“せいじさん!おはいよう!(Seiji san! Ohaiyoo!- Seiji! Good morning!)” Tashiya shouts.
The man looks up from his work and returns a yellowish white toothy smile.
“おはいよう、たしやさん!(Ohaiyoo, Tashiya san!-Good morning, Tashiya!)”
Jordan squints at the old man; he swears he has seen him before,
“You look quite familiar.”
The man takes off his glasses and replies, “Ah yes! You must be the customer at the Bunbougu cafe!”
“Oh my gosh! That’s it!”
“You work as a salesman and a priest?” Aimee joins in.
“I was only there for one day, dear.” the priest replies, “I can’t believe you two don’t recognize me closely.”
“What do you mean?”
The priest places both hands on the counter and leans forward, closer to Jordan’s and Aimee’s faces.
“Don’t you remember? I was the one who give you two your fortunes.”
“You what?”
“It was a hot sunny afternoon and I gave one to this beautiful lady carrying a white tote bag and she spoke impressive Japanese. And a few minutes later, I gave one to this tall, handsome man with a hesitant but thick British accent who tells me that it was his first time getting a fortune.”

The two foreigners stare blankly.
“That was you??” Jordan exclaims.
“Indeed!” the priest shakes his head, “Aiyayai! You two are as clueless as chickens!”
Jordan puts his backpack down onto the ground and fishes in the front pocket for the fortune he has kept. Aimee does the same to her tote bag. They hold their fortunes at the same time and unfold them.
“Your words will be entwined with a stranger...OH MY GOSH!” both read their fortunes and looks sharply at each other with eyes widened, “WE HAVE THE SAME FORTUNE?!”
“How is this possible?” Aimee asks.
“Well, I can see it.” the priest chuckles, “You see, I’ve been working in this shrine for forty years, and I can read every customer’s minds and hearts. As for you two, I see that you two have thoughts and feelings that are connected. Even though you two have different styles of writing respectively, you two have one same passion:you want your writing to become inspiration to your readers.”
Jordan and Aimee look at each other, dumbfounded.
“When I replaced Yoshi at the cafe yesterday, I thought it would be the perfect time to check out of you two. The gods had answered my prayers that you two went there.”
“Wait a minute, were you the one who left the questionnaires in the drawer?”
“Yeah,” the priest replies, “I know the questionnaires didn’t work so well, but...Aimee was right. The questionnaires were just a test. I was a little terrified when you two started arguing that I blamed myself for making your fortunes not entirely true. But...I think this is also the gods’ doing.”
“What do you mean by that?” Aimee asks.
“Love can’t be happy and easy all the time. Love can be a test, just like the questionnaires. If a couple don’t receive each other’s feelings, then how can they love each other?”
The priest then takes the two fortunes from their hands and places them side by side on the counter facing them, “When two lovers met, they are mesmerized and soon they are connected,” he slides Jordan’s fortune under Aimee’s, “and when they are together, they become one. When your words are read and touched and related to each other, they are intertwined.”
“So you’re saying that our writing are to be...like..wrapped or interweaved in each other and that makes our love stronger?” Aimee clarifies.
“Quite right! When both of your writing got swapped, you get to know each other’s heart.”
“But not entirely…”
“I mean when you read his writing, you’ll get to know what he feel about the world, what he see in the world, and what he believes for the world. But if you want to get to know him more, it requires patience to do so,” the priest replies, “Same goes to you, Jordan. You need to know that she is waiting for you to reply to her. You can’t just assume that things will go smoothly.”
“I just...want to find the right time to do so.”
“And when is that? You know that love can’t wait forever.”
Jordan takes his fortune back and smoothes it out. He rereads it to get his mind gearing.
“Well..I wish I can have a love counselling session with you two, but I have a queue waiting.” the priest says, pointing at a line of ten locals behind them, “I’m sure you two will work it out.”
“How can you be so sure?”
“Because I can see the destiny between you two,” he smiles and whispers, “Just to let you know, I’m a matchmaker as well! In secret, that is! I give fortunes to lucky people who are destined to be couples, but not much people here knows about this!”
“Boy! You are quite the most ambitious lad I’ve ever met!” Jordan gives a small laugh.
“Why thank you!” the priest winks, “Oh! My name’s Tokori, Tokori Unmei!”
“Ah, Tokori! I’ll definitely won’t forget you!”
“So will I!” Aimee agrees.
“じゃあ、まったね!がんばってね!(Jaa, matta ne! Ganbatte ne!-I’ll see you later then! Good luck!)” Tokori says.
“はい!ありがとうございます、とこりさん!(Hai! Arigatoo gozaimasu,Tokori san!-Okay! Thank you so much, Tokori!)” Aimee bows and walks away.
“We’ll meet again, Tokori! Goodbye!” Jordan bows and leaves.

They walk back to the car where Tashiya and Chirasa are waiting for them.
“You two seem to have quite a chat with Tokori!” Tashiya grins.
“He’s...interesting.” Jordan says.
“Alright! Let’s get you guys to the airport! We have one hour left!” Chirasa cuts them off and immediately starts the engine.

* * *
“Tashiya! I almost forgot to ask you but when are you flying back to London?” Jordan asks as he finishes checking in.
“In a week or so.”
“That long?”
“Yeah, it turns out that I have plans.”
“Let me guess..you’ve finally met a girl.”
“So you saw huh? At Tokyo Bay?”
“Heck yeah! You were all chatty with her!”
“Well, sometimes all you need is a little love.” Tashiya smiles, “Anyway, I’ll see you back in London, kay?”
“You betcha, buddy!”

“Thanks for everything, Chirasa! どおもありがとう!(Doomo arigatoo-Thank you)” Aimee says as she hugs the mother goodbye.
“Aw, your welcome, dear! Come visit Tokyo again if you can!” Chirasa smiles back.
“Definitely!” she waves goodbye and enters through the security section with Jordan.

“So...this is it, huh?” Aimee sighs.
“What?” Jordan turns to face her.
“Our last time seeing each other.”
“Yeah, time sure flies fast.”
“I’m sorry...about what I’ve said.”
“No, I’m the one who should be sorry. You know that I really want our relationship to work.”
“I know, and I should’ve listened to you.”
“And I should have spill my feelings to you earlier.”
“Well, it’s not too late! We can still...see each other again right?”
“Aimee, one day we’ll bump to each other again on a travelator in this airport.”
She laughs, and it makes Jordan smile more just like the first time.

They step off a travelator minutes later and stop at a corner where two gates are open for flights to London and Singapore respectively.
“Do you believe in destiny?” Aimee suddenly tugs the sleeve of his shirt.
Jordan looks into her eyes and replies earnestly, “I do. And I believe this is where we should be.”
Aimee smiles back. They lean closer till they reach to each other’s lips. The PA system announces the flights, but their lips remained locked for a magical minute. Jordan’s heart soar into the heavens like an eagle. He knows that this is the moment where he wants to be forever. As they let go, he looks into her eyes once more and utters the words he has kept in her heart the whole time, “I love you, Aimee.”
“I love you too, Jordan.”

They let go off their embrace, walk to their gates, and wave goodbye like it is the last time they ever see each other. Jordan’s heart is veiled with mixed feelings of happiness and pain, he wonders if the tangled heartstrings will remain there till he sees Aimee once more.

Three weeks later...
“Is this for real?” Aimee squeals. She dances around the living room of her apartment near UBC campus in Vancouver Canada. In her hands is an acceptance letter to an internship for a big newspaper press, but it is what she always wanted. She can finally quit her exhausting job at Target where her boss is extremely disappointed. After a four-days absence of extra shift without early notice, her salary is cut down dramatically. But with the good news approaching from her mailbox, Aimee can’t be happier to chase after her dreams of becoming a writer.

DING DONG!!!
“Huh...who could come by at 11pm?” she says to herself.
She leaves the letter on a coffee table and opens the door. She stares in utter surprise.
“JORDAN!!!” she squeaks.
“AIMEE!!!” Jordan shouts like he can’t care less. He  hugs her like a teddy bear and lifts her lightly off the carpet floor.
“What are you doing here?”she asks.
“I’m here to surprise you, of course! And I have some wonderful news!”
“Well..have a seat then!”
“No, I would rather stand. I’m too excited to settle down! I come here straight after I land at the airport!” he replies between his breath, “Anyway! Guess who is promoted to transfer his job from The Press in London to The Vancouver Sun?”
“No way! That’s amazing! Congratulations!” Aimee screams.
“Now we can be together!” Jordan smiles.
“Absolutely!” Aimee agrees; her body cushions comfortably against his, “And that’s not all! I got accepted to The Vancouver Sun for an internship!”
“Oh my gosh! That’s awesome!”
“I can’t believe we’re actually finally together!”
“I guess Tokori has his predictions right.” Jordan laughs.
“Yeap, destiny has brought us here.”

Jordan kisses Aimee with all the love and happiness that is charged up in his heart. There is no fireworks and there is no tune of “Kiss The Girl”, but Jordan enjoys every moment of it. Aimee’s feelings have intertwined in him, and he is 100% positive that his feelings has intertwined in her too.
